C2BK were invited by Chelmsford’s Labour Party to talk at their recent general meeting on the subject of rough sleeping and the work that we do.
Brian McGovern and Andy Watts represented C2BK and after giving a brief overview of what we do were asked many questions and what was scheduled to be a 20 minute session turned out to last nearly an hour. Brian and Andy were so pleased by the interest shown in our organisation and the warm reception they received and really appreciated this opportunity. They also received some generous donations and would like to say a huge thank you for these and the warm welcome they were given.
C2BK is not a political group and we do not support any party, but we are always happy to come and speak to whoever is interested in homelessness and rough sleeping in our City. If you would like us to come and talk to your group please get in touch.
