Cool to be kind is proud to announce that we were awarded £2000 by the High Sheriff of Essex.

Cool to be Kind has been awarded £2000 at the High Sheriff Awards 2022 to help us set up Street Support Chelmsford. This was part of a total amount of £9376 which was kindly donated byThe Honalee Fund, The Police Property Act Fund,The Bill Southern Legacy Fund,The Chelmsford Star Co-op Community Fund, which are all administrated by The Essex Community Foundation. Thank you so much for your incredible kindness.

Cool to be kind is proud to announce that we were awarded £2000 by the High Sheriff of Essex, Simon Brice at The High Sheriff Awards 2022 to help us set up Street Support Chelmsford. Street Support is a digital platform designed to give access to information to help vulnerable/homeless people in Chelmsford and will be launched in April this year. The event was held at Hylands House and was hosted by Steve Scruton and Ian Wyatt from BBC Essex.

This is part of £9,376 which we were awarded after a successful application to The Essex Community Foundation which is absolutely incredible, we are so so grateful. The other kind contributors were The Honalee Fund – £1,660, The Police Property Act Fund – £2,000, The Bill Southern Legacy Fund – £1,716 and The Chelmsford Star Co-op Community Fund – £2,000 which are administered by Essex Community Foundation – Thank you so so much for your incredible kindness.

Also thank you so much to all the people who work so hard to make what we do possible.

It was lovely to see some familiar and friendly faces there, especially the Mayor of Chelmsford Councillor Jude Deakin.
