It is with such sadness that we share the news that our dear friend Marion, one of the co-founders of Cool to be Kind, died peacefully on Tuesday 12th March, surrounded by her family.
We have so much to be thankful to Marion for – not least it being her idea to launch the Rucksack Project in Chelmsford, in November 2015, where it all began! We’ve come a long way since then and we would not be where we are today without Marion’s passionate involvement for so long.
For all those who knew Marion, you will know that you couldn’t help but be touched by her warmth, kindness, generosity, and her wonderful sense of humour. The world has lost a beautiful person, but her legacy will live on as we continue to provide our support and help to those struggling in our community.
