C2BK were proud and excited to have been invited to take part in the very first ‘Rough Sleepers’ Workshop’ hosted by Chelmsford City Council on 26th July 2019.
The event was very well attended with many different organisations in attendance, including Essex Police, Sanctus and Helping Hands. Whilst this was only the start of the process to shape rough sleeping policy in our City, it was a really positive step and very productive. New contacts were established and many issues and proposed solutions discussed. Well done to all who attended, and especially to Chelmsford City Council for seeking to eradicate rough sleeping in Chelmsford. We will keep you posted as things develop.
